In this episode of Subculture Talk, I welcome George Grant of Black Rose Burning into the Virtual Studio. George is the kind of musician you hope to interview: friendly, open-minded, and he enjoys talking about his craft. My favorite part about this interview is discussing ho the subject matter of one’s lyrics is less important than what that subject means to the lyricist. Also, apparently I’m going to start writing goth songs about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
