Subculture Talk

Subculture Talk is PAT 626’s weekly interview show. Featuring musicians, promoters, DJs, authors, and fans, Pat explores the dark alternative scene and all the subgenres within. Framed as an informal conversation, Pat and their guests flow through topics - some planned, others popping up at random.

Pat often refers to Subculture Talk as the “Pat Thinks Too Much” show; besides being a seasoned interviewer, Pat has also never escaped their roots in literature analysis. Interviews often involve deep dives into lyrics, musical structure, and processes, sometimes leading the interviewee to discover something about their own art they had not realized. Always entertaining and educational, each episode is as unique as the creators they showcase.
